KAREN WITTY

I was born and raised in Beverley and after going to Beverley College I took a place at Sunderland university and Graduated in 2001 with a BA Hons in Glass & Ceramics.

COLIN FAWCETT

I original came from Saltburn and after attending Redcar & Cleveland college was accepted for a place at the University of Sunderland, and also Graduated in 2001 with a BA Hons in Glass & Ceramics.

We met while attending the university and decided to teamed up and form 'Hands on Ceramics'. We now have a Ceramic studio in Seaham, were we design and make our work. Attending craft and trade fairs, up and down the country, taking on various commissions, and fulfilling orders from galleries and shops keep us fairly busy and if that is not enough, our active young son, Jack, makes sure we don't get bored. We hope you enjoy looking at our work.
