These match striker jar’s were thrown on the potters wheel using Speckled stoneware then doubled dipped in a satin gray glaze. strike anywhere on the un glazed side of the jar with a STRIKE ANYWHERE match and the match will light! The matchpad that is included is for use with all other matches.

These Multipurpose pots are also great for small plants such as mini orchids or succulents and also make great candle holders!
*Strike anywhere" matches will work in the unglazed portion of the jar. They must be strike anywhere to work with the jar.

Very cute and lovely craftsmanship. Exactly what I was expecting. However, it took 7 weeks to arrive even though was mailed 1st class USPS. Consider using a different package carrier if you want it in a timely manner.

Beautiful and delicate-appearing, but still hold more than enough matches to be functional. The strike works incredibly well, and is definitely an upgrade from the ugly, original matchbox!
